The Mortgage Process

I understand that obtaining a mortgage might be overwhelming and cumbersome for some people. It is important to me that you are comfortable with the process – here is a general guideline of what you can expect:
1. Complete 1 minute application online.
2. Speak with Loan Officer to review Loan request.
3. Disclosures sent to applicant within 24 hours of consultation.
4. Upon receipt of signed disclosures application is submitted to underwriting
5. On the 4th day after submission to underwriting (RESPA REQUIREMENT) an appraisal is ordered.
6. Within 5-7 business days after submission to underwriting a commitment is produced.
7. Title from Attorney is ordered.
8. Any conditions as per commitment are gathered and submitted to underwriting. (1 -3 days).
9. Once Title is received and conditions cleared a closing is scheduled.
The above process from application to closing will take on average 30-45 days. Faster turn around times are available upon request and may vary with market conditions.
